About St. Luke’s Parish

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church was established over 50 years ago by a group of Episcopalians from other churches in the Mobile, Alabama area. Through the years, the church has grown in size and membership, expanding into additional buildings and eventually adding an accredited K-12 school.

Similar to the lifestyles of growing southern cities, St. Luke’s is casual, flexible and unpretentious. The joy of individuality is recognized and encouraged in personality and spirituality. All age groups participate in the leadership and fellowship activities at St. Luke’s. Working and worshiping come together, bonds strengthen and unite communicants as they come together in St. Luke’s family of Christ.

St. Luke’s Accredited K-12 Episcopal School

St. Luke’s Episcopal School is a ministry of St. Luke’s Episcopal Church and consciously addresses the growth of mind, body, and spirit, serving as a learning center for values that will enhance a child’s life. We hope that all students, regardless of their own religious affiliations, find their faith and understanding of God enhanced through their time at St. Luke’s.

HOLY EUCHARIST AND IMPOSITION OF ASHES

WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 10th
12:00 P.M. and 6:00 P.M.

The imposition of ashes feels like an imposition, a stark warning that we will not live forever. It is a humbling reminder of our limits and finitude as human beings. But it is also an invitation to embark on a profound spiritual journey that will lead us from death to waters of rebirth and the new life of resurrection.
